Ribble Valley Council are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Building Control Officer to join our Building Control Team.

Ribble Valley is a picturesque rural Borough and the post holder will help ensure new buildings, alterations, installations and extensions meet the regulatory standards of safety, sustainability, accessibility and design.

We are looking for someone with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a Building Control section and having completed or part way through a relevant degree.  You will have knowledge of Building Control practice, excellent customer service, communication and ICT skills.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
