An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Principal Communications Officer to join our Communications Section.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the Council’s Communications Strategy and a range of strategic communications activities that deliver positive, measurable outcomes for the Council and its communities.

With a nationally-recognised qualification in communications, public relations, or journalism, and preferably membership of a professional organisation, you will have proven experience in communications and public relations practice as a strategic function.

A skilled media-handler, with a history of driving substantial media coverage, you will have proven experience of producing fast, accurate copy in a range of styles and creating or commissioning impactful multi-media and multi-channel content.
