The Council is undertaking Positive Action in the recruitment of a female Lifeguard.
The Council can objectively justify the need to employ a female lifeguard at Ribblesdale Pool. This will allow us to maintain the balance of males and females of which there is a particular need. Should we not recruit a female we will be under-represented in this area and unable to provide the appropriate safeguarding.
