Responsible for the management of the Council’s land and building assets, including maintenance and repair of public building stock, you will provide a full range of architectural services for capital projects, providing valuations and advice on estimating issues.

As a Chartered Building Surveyor (or approaching Chartered status), you will be experienced in contract administration and have a proven track record in project management and preparation of planned maintenance programmes, together with a rapidly growing knowledge of energy efficiency initiatives.  You should be familiar with all current construction industry regulations and have sound knowledge of condition/dilapidation surveys.

Self-motivated and energetic, you will need excellent IT skills, the ability to prioritise your own workload and supervise a small team.

You will need a full driving licence, access to a vehicle and motor insurance for business use.
