As a member of the RVBC Healthy Lifestyle Team, this role is fundamental to the successful development of Ribble Valley’s ‘Rural Referrals’ Workstream, that will support local people with long term health conditions into physical activity. You will be the ambassador for this workstream, and be responsible for the operational leadership.
Your role will include the development of co-operative working relationships with internal, external partners and the facilitation of multi-agency working. This is an interesting and exciting opportunity to help people improve their quality of life through activity.
You will need to be flexible in your approach with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, and be capable of gathering and monitoring information in order to produce timely reports.
You should have computer literate skills and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As you will be required to travel around the borough, a current, full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is essential for this position.
An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken after a conditional offer of employment has been made.
