Pay: For 16 and 17 year olds: £6.40 per hour, plus 12.07% allowance in lieu of holiday entitlement.
For 18+, £12 per hour in line with the Living Wage Foundation’s Real Living Wage, plus 12.07% allowance in lieu of holiday entitlement.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday to Friday - 37 Hours Per Week
Weekend working on a rota will be required
Based at Salthill Depot, Clitheroe
Based in the Amenity Cleansing Section at the Council’s Salthill Depot in Clitheroe, you will be part of a small team, responsible for ensuring that roads, footpaths, verges and open spaces are kept clean.
Picking up litter and sweeping streets, you will utilise equipment consistent with Street Cleansing requirements and ensure that all activities comply with the Council’s Health and Safety policy.
A full driving licence is essential and must include categories B, and B1.
Knowledge of the area is desirable.
