18.5 Hours Per Week - hours to be worked over 5 days, with flexibility to cover early evening meetings
We are excited to advertise the position of Democratic Services and Complaints Officer in our Chief Executive’s Directorate. You will work in a small supportive team in the Council Offices.
Working closely with Head of Legal and Democratic Services, the postholder will be required to manage the production and distribution of meeting agendas, attend meetings including evening meetings, and produce the meeting minutes and action sheets. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for administering the Council’s complaints procedure.
With experience of meetings and/or similar administration and an understanding of customer service and complaint handling, you will be competent in the use of office software with a methodical and flexible approach to work with good verbal and written communication skills.
A current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as the postholder will be required to attend meetings away from the office.
