Overdevelopment of the site. The grass verge at the side of the property would be almost completely submerged by the extension which would border the footpath at the corner of the extension. The proposal would reduce the openness of the estate and have an overbearing impact on the path and thus the street scene. Change to the character of the area, which has an open plan feel. That said, the relationship of the house with the road is similar to the orientation of the proposed extension to the road. 25/06/2004 |
