Some screening from the Bashall Eaves road next to the site but with long distance views further along that road to the west. Well connected to the farm complex which provide some screening esp. to the north and east. Most exposed boundary is the western wall, which is quite low. Additional landscaping would be necessary here and the eastern boundary as well. There are laready caravans here and because of proximity to farm buildings there visual impact on the character of the open countryside is not significant. May have some impact on neighbouring dwellings across the farm track in terms of noise disturbance etc. Brian Coopers comments awaited vis-a-vis highway safety but from my observations, sight lines appear to be reasonably good. 12/08/2004 |
