Clearly a visual improvement on the existing flat roof. Some impact on surroundings dwellings in terms of loss of light due to proximity of the social club to the backs of dwellings. However, the hipped roof slopes away so I don't think it would be significant. Noise appears to be the main concern from what I can gather so Environmental Health suggest that a noise attenuation scheme is carried out. 19/08/2004 |
