Site visit The proposal is for a side conservatory with a tiled pitched roof being 5m². The surrounding area is rural. The dwelling is built in white painted brick with a pitched slate roof. There is a conservatory to the rear, which acts as a kitchen/diner. The proposal would enable an extension to the lounge. Due to the isolated location of this house, there will be no impact on any surrounding residents with regards to loss of privacy or light. The proposal would not appear incongruous to the dwelling, as it would have a similar roof to existing and would fit in with the existing house. It is not too large or would cause a detrimental feature to the existing house. It would be viewed easily from the road coming out of Waddington, however it would not be an incongruous feature and therefore is not refusable.
