The property is a stone mid terrace two storey house, with a blue slate pitched roof. The proposal would be to demolish all outbuildings, and erect a single storey rear extension, projecting 3metres, and being 4metres wide. It will have a sloping roof, with a roof light and will be 3.8metres at the highest point. The proposal will not pose any overlooking issues, as there are no side windows. The design and size of the proposal is acceptable and in keeping with the area. There are other similar rear extensions in the area. There will be minimal loss of light as the proposal is single storey, and not too large or overbearing on the boundary. There are other similar single storey extensions on the row of terraces. 04/04/2006 |
