Site visit The two storey semi detached property is situated in a residential area. The proposal is for a rear conservatory projecting 4m from the existing rear elevation and being 5m wide. The conservatory would adjoin the neighbouring boundary however, there is an existing 2m high fence and there will be obscure glazed windows in this elevation. There will be minimal loss of light issues due to the proposal being single storey an its orientation being south. The neighbouring property has a single storey rear extension adjoining the boundary, There is an existing single storey outbuilding, which is to be demolished, which is on the boundary with no.1. The design and size of the proposal is acceptable and will not be detrimental to the existing house or the surrounding area.
