Site visit The property is a detached two storey house in Whalley. The proposal is for the replacement of a conservatory with a single storey rear extension, projecting 3.9m from the rear elevation and being 5.8m wide. It will be 3.3m high at the apex and 2.4m at the eaves. The proposal has windows on both side elevations, one of which could cause an overlooking impact and therefore would be obscurely glazed, therefore reducing any impact. The size and design of the proposal is acceptable, and the precedent has been set as there is an existing conservatory. There will be minimal loss of light issues.
