The property is a semi-detached two storey house, situated in a residential estate. The proposal is for a first floor extension, over the existing porch. The extension will project 1.2metres and will follow the pitch of the existing roof until it reaches its maximum point at 6.45m. The proposal will be in matching materials to the existing house and is an acceptable design. It will not cause any overlooking or loss of privacy issues to any neighbouring properties due to the size and the location of the windows. The proposal is an acceptable form of development and will not be an incongruous feature in the surrounding area.
