The farm is situated in Tosside in the AONB. The proposal is a prior notification for a replacement agricultural building within the farm complex. It will be 23m long x 9.5m wide, and will be 4.8m tall at the highest point and 3.6m high at the eaves. It will have 4 open bays and 1 closed. It will be built with timber cladding sides, being natural green stain and a slate blue steel sheeted roof. The design of the building is acceptable as an agricultural building. It is built in similar materials to the existing farm buildings and would not be detrimental to the AONB. The siting of the proposal is acceptable, as it will replace a building already in situ. It is near to similar buildings and would not look isolated or out of place. 03/04/2006 |
