Site visit The proposal is for a two-storey rear extension, being a resubmission of 3/2005/1073. The proposal will project 3metres from the rear elevation, and will hip into the existing roof; this will accommodate 2nd floor accommodation. It will be 3.25metres wide, talking up the whole rear elevation of the house. The proposal will have no windows in the side elevation, therefore reducing any overlooking impact. The proposal will reduce light to the neighbouring properties, but it will not be enough to constitute a refusal, as the proposal only extends 3metres. The ground floor element is existing and therefore I have no objections to the changes. The size of the proposal is acceptable and a certain improvement from the original application.
