Caravans and amenities block largely screened from south and west by farm buildings tree screening with more open aspect to north and east. Likely to be long distance views from Longridge Fell. Applicant would be willing to landscape area to screen caravans from north and east. They are proposing a different layout for caravans so we will need a new site plan. Applicant also says that the owner of the land to the west of the site access is making it difficult for them move hedgerow thereby achieving the requisite sightline improvements. Some visual impact resulting from new one way track to east of existing access track. Caravans likely to visible from Wallbanks to north and The Old School Room/The Manse to the south-east. Probably not that visible from the main road dur to high hedgerows. 23/06/2006 |
