The property is a detached bungalow in Clitheroe and the proposal is for a single storey rear extension. It will project 3.5m from the rear elevation and will be 4.6m wide. It will follow the pitch of the existing roof until it reaches it's maximum height of 4.5m, the eaves being 2.1m.The design and size of the proposal is acceptable and will not cause a detrimental feature to the area. There will be minimal overlooking issues as the proposal has no side windows and is not directly adjoining a neighbours' boundary. There will be minimal loss of light issues as the neighbouring property is a suitable distance away. 13/04/2006 |
