Site visit The property is a two storey end terrace situated in Clitheroe. The proposal is to extend the residential curtilage to the side of the house, which is currently not used for a specific purpose. It is grassed over and maintained by the applicant. The proposal would comply with Policy 12 in that it is within the settlement boundary of Clitheroe and would not cause any detrimental issues to the surrounding area. The proposal would simply enclose an existing area of grass to provide domestic use by means of a 2metre timber panel fence. The fence would adjoin the footpath to Pendle Road, however I do not think this would cause a detrimental feature to the street scene.
