Met the applicant at the site and also viewed proposal from No. 14 Pendleside Close and Sycamore House. Design seems acceptable and generally in-keeping with the property. Not going to very visible from Pendleside Close. From perspective of No. 14, little overlooking would occur from new side windows due to bushes and garden shed on boundary. Perhaps some loss of light to lounge and kitchen windows but extension seems a reasonable distance away. Looking from Sycamore House, the extension would affect their rear lounge window but again there is a reasonable gap and I pointed out to neighbour that although extension only 1m from boundary, the apex of the extension roof is further away (approx. 5m). Neighbour concerned about loss of light but he has a very substantial lleyandi hedge on rear boundary with No. 14 which already overshadows his lounge and garden.
