Site visit The property is a mid terrace, situated in Barrow. The proposal is for a conservatory being 3.6m long and 2.9m wide. The height is proposed to be 3.0m at the highest point and 2.2m at the eaves. The proposal would have a solid wall to the neighbouring boundary, therefore reducing any overlooking impact. There would be no loss of light caused, as there is an existing 2m wall between the properties. There development could result in an over bearing impact on the boundary, however, this impact would not justify a refusal, as the eaves height of the conservatory would be similar to the existing wall. The design and size is acceptable and it would not cause a detrimental feature to the surrounding area.
