Site visit The site is a primary school in Balderstone. The proposal is to replace an existing timber shed with a larger timber shed and re-position it closer to the school building, along with the repositioning of the existing railings, being 1.5m highThe size will be 3m wide and 3m long. It will have a pitched roof and will be 2.4m at the highest point. There are no significant amenity issues affected by the shed, as it is existing. There is a neighbouring property to the boundary, however the view of the school is reduced by existing garages. The design is acceptable as a storage shed, being timber with a pitched roof. The size is larger than the existing but it will not pose a detrimental feature to the area. The repositioning of the railings is acceptable and will not form a detrimental feature to the surrounding area.
