Site visit The property is a detached bungalow situated close to Clitheroe. The proposal is for the erection of a timber shed to the front of the house, being 3.5m long x 2.6m wide. It will have a pitched roof, and will be 2.8m at the highest point. The materials are proposed to be timber boarding with a felt tile roof. There are minimal neighbouring amenity issues caused by the proposal, due to its small size, location and type of proposal. The main issue is that the proposal will be situated forward of the frontage of the house. However, due to the mixed style of houses in the street and the existing trees and shrubs (being at least 3m tall) to the front of the house, I do not consider that the shed would cause a detrimental feature to the frontage of the house, or look out of place of isolated and therefore I recommend accordingly.
