Site visit The property is a mid terrace on Woone Lane in Clitheroe. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension, projecting 4m from the rear elevation and being 4.4m wide. There is a utility room proposed to the rear of the extension also, which will project an additional 2.3m and will be 2.6m wide. The roof is proposed to be pitched with a maximum height of 3.6m.There is an existing singe storey extension, which projects 4m and is 2.5m wide, and therefore part of the proposal is existing. There are no side windows proposed on the extension, and there is an existing 2m wall to each side boundary and other single storey extensions to each neighbouring house; therefore there will be minimal impact on neighbouring amenity. The design and size is acceptable and will not form a detrimental impact to the surrounding area.
