The property is a semi-detached cottage in Worston. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension, projecting 3.5m from the rear elevation and being 7.2m wide. It is proposed to have two gables facing west, with a sloping roof to the middle. The gables are proposed to be fully glazed. The proposal will cause no neighbouring impacts, as there is an existing single storey rear extension in place that is smaller than the proposed but does adjoin the boundary. The design is acceptable and the size is satisfactory and would not create a detrimental impact to the surrounding area or existing house. 31/10/2006 |
