Site visit The property is a semi-detached house in Clitheroe. The proposal is for a rear conservatory and a 1m fence to the side boundary, which is adjacent to an access road. The conservatory is proposed to project 3.9m and be 4m wide. It is proposed to have a pitched roof, being 3.3m high at the apex. There will be no significant neighbouring impacts as there is an existing 1m boundary fence, although a condition requiring obscure glazing to be implemented on the neighbouring boundary will be imposed. The design and size is acceptable. The fence is proposed to run along the side boundary to enclose the garden to the side. It is proposed to be 2m at the rear of the house and drops to 1m when at the side and front of the house. There will be no impact caused by the construction of the fence as the design and size is acceptable, and there would be no impact on the street scene.
