Site visit The property is a detached two storey house in Longridge. The proposal is for a first floor extension over the existing garage. It is proposed to be set back from the front elevation by 50cm and will follow the existing roofline, with a gable to the west. There are no windows proposed in the side elevation and therefore there would be minimal neighbouring issues. Loss of light would not be a major issue as the neighbouring house has a garage to the boundary with no. 39 College Close. The design is acceptable and would not cause an incongruous or detrimental feature to the existing house or within the street.
