Greenbelt. Viewed from public footpath no.26, from most angles within the field and from St Leonard's Church and Petre Arms area on Whalley Road. Proposal will be visible from the latter area but seen against the hillside and extensive tree cover and from good distance and, provided painted dark green, should blend in fairly well. From footpath 26 the proposal will not be readily visible or intrusive due to tree screening though it will be seen above some of the surrounding trees. The land slopes down from Smalley's Farm towards site and land continues to fall in the direction of Whalley Road. 06/10/2006 |
