Site visit The property is a detached two storey house in Clitheroe. The proposal is for the erection of a first floor extension over an existing single storey extension to the front of the property. The roof will be a pitched roof hipping into the existing to create a gable end. There would be no neighbouring issues from the implementation of this scheme. The design and size is acceptable. There would be a significant impact on the street scene, however the impact will not be detrimental and will not create an incongruous feature. There is a mixture of house styles in the street and the proposal would not look out of place.
