Proposal would appear bigger than existing from rear as land to be lowered. Similar size when viewed from front. Existing building is in poor condition now though front elevational is traditional in appearance and quite pleasing. Unsightly flat roof extension to the east elevation. Large glazed area to the rear elevation would not impact on the character of the adjoining properties. Windows positioned to not overlook neighbouring properties. Rear of building is visible from the bottom (Whalley) road to Sabden (up the hill). 06/11/2006 |
