Site visit The property is a detached house in Wilpshire. The proposal is for a detached double garage, being 7.6m x 8.6m with a pitched roof being 4.8m at the highest point. The garage is proposed to be situated to the south of the house. There would be no neighbouring issues caused by the garage, as the land is significantly lower than the neighbouring houses. The design is acceptable. The size is substantial, however, taking into account the location the garage, it would be acceptable form of development and would not form an incongruous feature. There is an existing structure in situ, which will be replaced by the construction of the garage.
