The property is a detached house on Lower Lane. The proposal is for a two storey side extension, projecting 3.3m from the existing side elevation and being 7.3m long. The first floor extension will have a gable facing west, whereas the existing house gables face north and south. The proposal also includes the demolition of the existing garages and the erection of a detached garage to the north of the site, being 6.2m x 5.8 with a pitched roof being 4m high at the maximum point. In terms of the two storey side extension, there would be minimal neighbouring issues, as there are existing established boundary treatments in place and there are no windows proposed in the side elevation. The size and design is acceptable. The garage would cause no significant neighbouring issues. The size and design is acceptable.
