There has been a similar application at this location for a takeaway which was refused. Ref. No. 3/2005/0601. The main difference is that this shows an exyension to the rear which leaves no parking for customers or staff. The location of the building is approx. 20 metres from a busy road junction which is controlled by traffic lights. There are double yellow lines on both sides of the road up until in front of the building, limiting parking for the shop. The lack of parking provision for staff and customers makes this application worse than the other one submitted this year. I am awaiting comments from the LCC Highway team, although I cannot see them favouring this application either. 25/08/2005 |
