The property is a semi detached house in Whalley. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension, projecting 4m from the rear elevation and being 6m wide. It is proposed to have a flat roof being 2.4m high. There are minimal neighbouring impacts to consider due to the existing boundary treatments. The size is acceptable and would not cause detrimental issues. The design is a flat roof, which is not the best design in terms of visual impact, however the proposal is at the rear of the house and would not be visually obvious from the front of the property. 19/02/2007 |
