Site visit The property is a semi-detached two storey house. The proposal is for a two storey side extension, projecting 2.7m and being 8.5m long, incorporating a 1.9m single storey lean to extension at the rear. It is proposed to have a hipped roof with, being 7.2m high at the maximum point. The proposed extension would cause no significant neighbouring issues due to its location and the proximity of the neighbours. There are no windows proposed in the sides and loss of light would be negligible. The size is acceptable and the design would fit in with the existing house. It is set back from the front elevation by 50cm and it would not form a detrimental feature and be in accordance with Policy SPG - "Extensions and Alterations to Dwellings".
