The property is a converted barn in Chaigley. The application is for a garden room to the rear of the garage, being 3.7m long, 2.5m wide, with a pitched roof 2.5m at the apex. The main issue is the impact on the area. There would be negligible neighbouring impact, and there is minimal impact on the barn as it is situated away from the property to the rear of the garage. The majority of the greenhouse in hidden behind the garage, and in my opinion the impact on the area is not significant enough to warrant a refusal. It is not visible from the road and causes no major detrimental visual impact 26/02/2007 |
