Site visit The property is a detached house in Mellor Brook .The application is for a retrospective rear "p" shaped conservatory, projecting 3.5m max from the rear elevation and being 5.6m wide. It has a part sloping, part hipped roof. There are minimal neighbouring impacts to consider due to the existing boundary treatments and the size and design is acceptable. The main issue is that the house backs onto a main road, and therefore the conservatory is visible, however due to there being a 2m fence to the rear of the property, the conservatory does not form an incongruous feature within the street as it is screened.
