Site visit The property is a semi detached dormer bungalow. The proposal is for a two storey side extension incorporating an extension to the existing rear dormer. The extension would project 2.7m from the existing side elevation and would be 5.7m wide. The rear dormer would project the same as the existing rear dormer from the roof, and would be 2.4m long. The height of the roof would be the same as the existing. The extension would be set back from the front elevation by 2.8m.There would be minimal neighbouring issues as there are no windows proposed in the side of the extension and there would be minimal loss of light, due to the suitable proximity between. The size and design is acceptable. Due to the set back of the proposal it would not be highly visual would cause no serious detrimental impact to the street scene.
