The property is an end terrace in Whalley. The proposal is for a two storey side extension, single storey rear extension and porch. It is proposed to project 3.5m from the side elevation, being 8.5m long with a hipped roof. The set back is 0.9m from the front elevation. The single storey rear extension is proposed to project 2.3m and be 7.8m long, with a sloping roof being3.5m at the maximum point. The porch is proposed to project 1.2m from the front elevation and be 6.6m wide, incorporating a projection of the garage forward. It is proposed to have a sloping roof. There would be minimal neighbouring impacts caused from the proposal due to distance between the properties and there being no windows proposed at first floor and those at ground floor being high level. The size and design is acceptable and the proposal would not form a detrimental feature to the existing street scene or house. 03/04/2007 |
