The property is a semi detached two storey house. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension, projecting 4.5m and being 3.8m wide. It is proposed to have a hipped roof, being 3.8m high at the highest point. A replacement shed is also proposed which will project 2.5m and will be 1.4m wide. It is proposed to have a pitched roof, being 2.5m at the highest point. There would be minimal neighbouring issues, due to the extension being single storey and the existing boundary treatments in place. The shed would cause minimal impact. The size is substantial and does take up most of the rear garden, however the size is not detrimental to the property and the design is acceptable. 03/04/2007 |
