The property is a semi-detached house in Longridge. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension, projecting 3.4m from the existing elevation and being 9.5m wide. It is proposed to have a sloping roof on part of the extension which projects less than the existing, and a glazed gable end, with a pitched roof on the rest of the extension. There would be minimal neighbouring impact as there are no properties directly to the rear. The flats are over 10m away from the elevation and there are sufficient boundary treatments in place.
