The property is a semi detached two storey house. The proposal is for two single storey rear extensions, the first projecting 3.2m from the existing side elevation and being 4.8m long. The roof is proposed to be sloping, off the existing two storey wall. The second extension is proposed to link the existing outbuilding and the rear of the kitchen. It will infill 0.9m and create a sloping roof, continuing the existing slope. There would be minimal neighbouring issues, due to the extensions being single storey. Windows are proposed in the side of the side extension, however there is a drive between the properties and in my opinion, there is sufficient distance for any impact to be reduced. The insertion of velux roof lights would cause no significant impact. The size and design is acceptable 25/04/2007 |
