The property is a detached house in Longridge. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension, projecting 3.6m from the rear elevation and being 4.3m wide. It is proposed to have a sloping roof being 3.8m at the maximum point. Demolition of the garage is also proposed and in its place, the creation of two car parking spaces. The car parking spaces would cause no issues, and do not require formal planning permission as the track to the rear is not adopted. The single storey rear extension would cause minimal neighbouring issues and it is single storey, there are no windows in the side elevations. There would be minimal loss of light and many other neighbouring properties have single storey rear extensions.The size and design is acceptable and there would be no detrimental impact caused by the implementation of this proposal. 16/05/2007 |
