The property is a detached dormer bungalow in Read. The proposal is for a single storey front extension, projecting 2.7m and being 3.6m wide. It is proposed to have a pitched roof, being 4.5m at the maximum point. There is also a proposal to replace the flat roof garage with a pitched roof, altering the height from 2.4m to a maximum of 4.4m at the apex. There would be minimal neighbouring impact with all the proposals due to the proximity of the neighbours and the types of proposals. The design of the proposals is acceptable, and would form no detrimental impact to the street scene or surrounding area. The neighbouring property is set forward of no.7 and therefore the impact would be minimal, without any detrimental impact on the street scene.
