Proposed alterations to the cow shed and stone barn are minimal and would have little visual impact. The barn is quite decrepit and lots of velux rooflights are proposed. Open barn would have most visual impact as it is currently 4 low walls without a roof - what is proposed is a large industrial building which is similar to existing units. This proposal would be seen against the backdrop of existing complex. Overall, visual impact of works would not be so detrimental as to refuse for this reason alone. 19/01/2005 |
