Significant impact on street scene as extension to the side changes character of the property and the area. Unbalances the semi and could be seen as overdevelopment of the site. Sizeable increase in floor area. Negligable impact on neighbours as the new pitched roof at the rear goes away from no.23. Small extension to the line of the rear kitchen wall. No objections to the garage which would replace a garage and outbuilding. Check previous approvals. Visited again on 22 July 2004 for a second look. The extension does reflect the original property despite its impact on the street scene. 14/07/2004 |
