Site visit House in two historic builds ;1716 over a former external door close to chimney stack.Early build has chamfered beams.Later build has square cut joists and plain C18 /eC19? fire surround (same stonework as in 1716 doorway). Early build has coursed roughly squared stone (at back elevation)whereas later has random rubble.Windows in later build are square/vertical whereas early has wide mullioned.Mullioned windows at front have received considerable replacement of sections.Double-glazing throughout-in mullioned are of a simple leaded light type but in others of a very poor stained hardwood with unsubtle glazing bars.Pointing appears recent cement based throughout. Proposal involves loss of fabric -but window drop, no wider-later build.Conservatory over embellished ie arches, finials, hipped roof for this building.Rear elevation with no public view?
