Temporary consent is sought for a portakabin to the rear of Northcote Manor, measuring approx 11 x 3 x 3metres. The proposal is well screened from all vantage points by landscaping, established trees and a high stone wall. The visual impact of the proposal is minimal due to the siting of the portakabin in that is of no detrimental impact and there are no nearby residents. Planning permission has been granted to extend the restaurant (3/00/0756), which has not yet been implemented and will lapse in March. There is minimal impact caused to the local area by re-issuing the temporary consent as the portakabins are well screened and causing no detriment to the surrounding area. 09/01/2006 |
