The area is residential, with the red brick deatched bungalow being situated on a corner plot. The conservatory is proposed to go at the rear of the house and towards the east side of the elevation. The conservatory will be 4m x 3.6m x 3.3m. The proposed shed will go behind the existing garage and be 2.4m x 1.8m x 2m. Loss of privacy to neighbours will be minimal. The nearest property that an impact could occurs is no.7, as the rear garden of no. 5 backs onto the side elevation of no. 7. There are 2 windows, one of which is obscure glazed. There will be an impact, but not enough to constitute a refusal. There will be no loss of light to any neighbours. There is an existing 2metre boundary fence which will separate the conservatory and the existing road, therefore allowing privacy to the proposal. The garden shed will cause minimal issues to any neighbouring amenities. 15/02/2006 |
